The Valley Private Hospital is situated on the end of Police Road where it meets Gladstone Road, in the suburb of Mulgrave. It is only minutes from the city of Dandenong and is easily accessible from the South Eastern Freeway and Eastlink.


How many patients can The Valley Private Hospital treat?
On any given day The Valley Private Hospital has the capacity to treat 110-140 patients.

What are the visiting hours?

The hospital visiting hours are between 10am and 1pm

Afternoon Visiting commences at 3pm and concludes at 8pm.

There is a rest period from 1pm to 3pm. No visitors or phone calls are allowed during this period

Is here accomodation nearby?

Yes hotel and motel accomodation is located in close proximity to the hospital.

Some veteran patients are eligible to have transport arranged for them through the Department of Veterans' Affairs. The Department can be contacted for general enquiries on 133 254 or the local Veterans affairs network Offices on 1300 551 918 for further information.

 Is there access for wheelchairs?

Yes.

You can arrange  to drive to the front reception area and alight from the car in this location and enter the hospital via the foyer. It would be necessary to move the car or park at the rear of the hospital and enter via the Emergency Department. 


Does the hospital treat veterans and war widow/ers?
The Valley Private Hospital is a Tier 1 hospital and provides comprehensive care for private patients including the privately insured, entitled veterans and war widow/ers as well as self-insured patients.


Does The Valley Private Hospital have an Emergency Department?
Yes, The Valley Private Hospital does have a full-service Emergency Department and can accept acute referrals 24 hours a day.
